Muay Thai

Muay Thai is Thailand's national combat sport, known as the 'art of eight limbs' for its use of fists, elbows, knees and shins. Our Muay Thai classes in Harlow, Essex develop technical striking, clinch control and conditioning in a structured way, whether you're training for fitness or progressing towards sparring and competition.

What to Expect

Sessions start with pad work and shadow drilling to sharpen technique on jabs, crosses, kicks, elbows and knees before adding resistance.

Clinch work is a defining part of Muay Thai and gets dedicated time in most classes, controlling range, off-balancing an opponent and landing knees safely with a partner.

Conditioning is built into every session rather than bolted on afterward, so you leave both technically sharper and physically tested.

Benefits

  • Full-body conditioning that builds power, speed and endurance
  • Improves coordination, balance and reflexes
  • Effective stress relief through high-intensity training
  • Pad work suits complete beginners; sparring is optional and coach-led

Who It's For

Anyone wanting to learn a technical striking art, improve fitness or progress towards sparring and competition. No previous experience or particular fitness level is required to start.

Frequently Asked Questions
